William H. "Boots" Riddle, 86, of Freehold, died Saturday, Nov. 12 at The Manor, Freehold Township.  He was born in Freehold, where he was a lifelong resident.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Riddle was a member of and , both of Freehold.

Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Lorraine; his son, Robert Riddle; his daughter, Kathie, and her husband, Sal Rappa; his granddaughters, Kristine and Kim Rappa; his brother, Eddie Riddle; and his sister, Barbara Jones.
