Panda Asian Fusion Cuisine: Classic Chinese Food Done the Panda Way

Eat well without traveling far.

I’ve never eaten a panda, and I assume if I ever did I probably wouldn’t come back asking for seconds. But every time I see the word “panda” my taste buds start expecting tangy and sweet Asian food. The brand new Panda Asian Fusion Cuisine in Freehold is everything you could want in a restaurant named after those cuddly inedible bears; in other words, classic Chinese fare served up fast and hot.

It’s lunch time and you only have an hour to kill, so why not grab one of their $5.75 lunch specials served with a choice of soup or eggroll and pork fried rice. There are over 40 dishes to choose from just for lunch and include such favorites as General Tso's chicken, chicken in garlic sauce, sauteed string bean, roast pork egg foo young and even a whole host of shrimp plates (with lobster sauce, brocolli, garlic sauce and more).

The menu is numbered so you can go old school and just speak your order in mathematical language. Make sure you try all your Chinese favorites (they make mine) and remember to try a combination plate if you miss lunch or want a late snack.
