Parolee Had Heroin Stamped 'Grim Reeper' And 'Strike Dead,' Police Say
Freehold Township police say the Monroe man had 34 wax folds.

A Monroe man who was out of jail on parole has been charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia after Freehold Township police found 34 wax folds of the drug and a hypodermic needle in his possession.
Charles Sharp, 27, of Buckelew Avenue, Monroe, was arrested Friday and charged with having heroin by Freehold Township Patrolman John Tacopino Jr. with having the folds containing the drug. The folds were stamped in red and black with the words “Grim Reeper” and “Strike Dead,” according to the complaint.
Sharp was out on parole after he had been sentenced to more than a year in jail on a charge of conspiracy in connection with a robbery/carjacking, according to state Department of Corrections records.

Sharp is being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in lieu of $11,000 bail, no 10 percent, according to the criminal complaint.
