Police Promotions, Hires Are Made In Freehold Township
The Police Department here is going into the fall with three newly hired police officers, and has seen the promotion of two others.

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Freehold Township Police Department made some personnel changes this summer, promoting two officers and hiring three new officers, according to a news release from the department.
Sgt. Christopher Deangelo was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Lt. Deangelo joined the police department in 2004 and was promoted to the rank of sergeant in 2016. He will serve as an evening shift watch commander.
Sgt. Joseph Winowski was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Lt. Winowski joined the police department in 2005 and was promoted to the rank of sergeant in 2020. He will serve as detective lieutenant and oversee Internal Affairs and the Detective Bureau.

Police Officers Lorenzo Felix, Christopher Poss, and William Sabin Jr. were sworn in as new hires for the agency. The three officers previously worked for the Colts Neck, Allentown, and Pemberton Police Departments respectively, the news release said.
