Primark Opens First NJ Store at Freehold Raceway Mall

Primark, a leading European fashion retailer with 310 stores in 11 countries, has announced the opening date of its fourth U.S. location and first in New Jersey, at the Freehold Raceway Mall. Doors will open to customers at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 16th, when Primark will bring its signature amazing fashion at amazing prices to one of the area’s most popular shopping destinations.

“Following our three U.S. store openings at Downtown Crossing, Boston, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and Danbury, Connecticut, we are delighted that New Jersey will be the location of our fourth store,” said Paul Marchant, Primark Chief Executive. “We continue to receive extremely positive customer feedback and the opening of our store at Freehold Raceway Mall marks another important step in presenting the Primark brand to U.S consumers and raising awareness of our unique formula of Amazing Fashion, Amazing Prices.”

With approximately 50,900 sq. ft. located on the upper level, south end of the mall, Primark’s new Freehold store will feature a vast variety of constantly refreshed womenswear, menswear, children’s wear, home goods, beauty products and gifts, meeting the needs of all local shoppers. Modeled on Primark’s latest contemporary shop concept, the store’s design will feature a trend room, 65 fitting rooms and 47 registers for fast and convenient shopping.

Primark is actively hiring for the Freehold Raceway Mall store at its recruiting center on the upper level of the mall. A wide range of opportunities are available as Primark looks to fill over 275 positions including retail support and visual merchandising to cash office and stockroom roles.

In addition to three stores currently open in Boston’s Downtown Crossing, Pennsylvania’s King of Prussia Mall, Connecticut’s Danbury Fair Mall, Primark has announced plans to launch in six further locations - Willow Grove Mall (Willow Grove, Pa.), Burlington Mall (Burlington, Mass.), Staten Island Mall (Staten Island, N.Y.), South Shore Plaza (Braintree, Mass.) and American Dream (East Rutherford, N.J.), Kings Plaza (Brooklyn, N.Y.).
