FREEHOLD, NJ - A popular Monmouth County specialty grocer is making its new home in Freehold - and it’s coming in with a bang later this month.

Livoti’s Old World Market, a supermarket chain specializing in artisan Italian groceries, will be opening its Freehold location on April 29 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, according to a statement posted to Facebook.

The Freehold site replaces the former 20,000-square-foot Top Tomato storefront, which closed in 2016.

Located at 200 Mounts Corner Dr., Livoti’s will welcome the neighborhood into its new storefront with an 8 a.m. ceremony. The first opening hour from 8 to 9 a.m. will be reserved for seniors ages 65 and older, according to a statement. The remaining hours (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) will be open to the public.

Established in May 2010 in Aberdeen, Livoti's Old World Market has since expanded to include locations in Marlboro in 2014 and Middletown in 2017. The grocer touts specialty produce, meat, grocery, dairy, deli, catering, and bakery items.

Regular store hours for the location will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. five days per week. The Freehold store can be reached at (732) 410-4550.
