Route 9 At Freehold Twp-Manalapan Line Closed After Crash
Motorists are urged to find another travel route; police said the road will be closed for several hours.

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — A motor vehicle crash has closed all lanes of Route 9 in Freehold Township on Wednesday afternoon, state transportation officials said.
Motorists are urged to find other routes as the road is detoured at Craig Road, near the Freehold Township-Manalapan border.
Freehold Township police described it as a serious crash and said the investigation by the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team is expected to take several hours.
