Motorcyclist, Freehold Twp Police Officer Hurt In Serious Crash
The prosecutor's office said the crash remains under investigation.

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ — An on-duty Freehold Township police officer and a motorcyclist both were injured in a crash Sunday afternoon on Route 537, the Monmouth County prosecutor's office said Sunday evening.
Both drivers were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment, the statement from the prosecutor's office said. No information about either the officer or the motorcyclist was released Sunday.
The crash between the motor vehicle and the motorcycle happeened at 2:22 p.m. at the intersection of Route 537 and Kozloski Road, the prosecutor's office said. It remains under investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART) and Freehold Township Police Department.
