Spring Break Shortened For Freehold Regional High Schools
The cut allows graduation to go unchanged for Howell, Manalapan, Marlboro, Colts Neck, Freehold and Freehold Township high schools.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Students and staff in the Freehold Regional high schools have to cut their spring breaks a few days short as the district makes up for snow days taken this winter.
Classes at the district's six high schools — Howell, Colts Neck, Marlboro, Manalapan, Freehold and Freehold Township — will be in session on April 5 and April 6, the district announced on its website. School also will be in session on Friday, May 25, on what was to be a day off for Memorial Day weekend.
The three days all are early dismissals, the announcement said.

The high school district wound up with six snow days, but had three emergency closure days built in to its calendar.
By taking the days from Spring Break and Memorial Day weekend, the high schools' graduation date remains June 21, as previously scheduled.
