Water and ice available for JCP&L customers still without power.

Violent thunderstorms blowing through Monmouth County late Saturday knocked out power to some 30,000 customers, according to Jersey Central Power and Light, and had left up to 3,600 outages in Freehold Borough and over 2,300 in Freehold Township still unrestored as of Sunday afternoon.

Officials of the Monmouth County Fair announced that damage at the fairgrounds has resulted in cancellation of the fair Sunday.

Downed trees and local flooding were reported through much of the area and access to Freehold was shut down by police at about 11 p.m. Saturday, according to a report on APP.com.
