Rabbi Bryan
Kinzbrunner, Campus Chaplain, will be one of the speakers this Sunday, February
9, 2014 at The Caring Conference, which is sponsored by The Jewish Federation
of Monmouth County.
Rabbi
Kinzbrunner will speak on “G-dly Accompaniment: The Spiritual Side of Bikkur
Cholim.” Jewish thought considers visiting the sick, bikkur holim, as part of
our mandate to walk in G-d's ways. In this workshop, we will explore and
analyze some primary Jewish resources around the G-dly work of supporting
people facing illness and accompanying them as a representative of the divine.
The program will
be held at CentraState Medical Center, 901 West Main Street in Freehold, NJ
07728 from 11a.m. to 4p.m. A $10 donation for lunch is suggested.
