TRAFFIC ALERT: Crash Closes Route 33 At Howell-Freehold Twp. Border
The closure is expected to last several hours, Howell police say.

A motor vehicle crash involving a car hitting a utility pole has forced the closure of Route 33 on the Howell-Freehold Township border, police say.
The road is closed in both directions between Five Points Road and Crowhill Road, according to Howell Detective Sgt. Eileen Dodd, and will remain closed until about midnight.
Repair crews from Jersey Central Power & Light are on the scene, she said. “They need to set a new pole, with transformers on it, so the repair is expected to take a while,” Dodd said.
