Two Candidates Running For Re-Election On Freehold Borough Council
Incumbents Margaret Rogers and Adam Reich are seeking re-election for the upcoming primary election.

FREEHOLD, NJ — Monday was the filing deadline for the upcoming primary election in June, and two candidates have announced they are running for re-election on the Freehold Borough Council.
Democratic incumbents Margaret Rogers and Adam Reich will be running for re-election, as both of their terms are up this election cycle. They are both running unopposed.
No petitions were filed for the Republican Party, according to the Borough Clerk.

Reich has previously served on the Freehold Borough Board of Education, Zoning and Planning Boards and as a member of the Freehold Development committee.
Rogers currently serves as a member of the Shade Tree Commission liaison, Personnel Committee, Planning Board and as a member of the Human Relations Committee.

In New Jersey, the primary election for 2022 will be held on Tuesday, June 7. The winners will receive their party's nomination for the general election, which will be held on Tuesday, November 8, and will include independent candidates.
Voters have until May 17 to register for the primary election.
