Two Shootings In 5 Hours In Freehold: Reports
Authorities are investigating the two events that happened within a few blocks of each other.

FREEHOLD, NJ -- Investigators are looking into two shootings that occurred Monday night in Freehold, according to reports.
The Asbury Park Press reported the shootings happened on Ford Avenue and on Center Street about four hours apart Monday night.
NJ.com reported that one resident saw three people run from one home after hearing four gunshots in the first shooting, which happened about 6 p.m.

The second shooting happened on Center Street, just a few blocks from the first one, about 10:45 p.m., the reports said.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office has not released any details on the shootings.

The Press report said more than a dozen shots were fired in the second shooting.
