Veterans To Be Honored At Freehold School 'Drive-Through'

FREEHOLD, NJ — St. Rose of Lima School is once again honoring military veterans and their spouses at its Drive-Through Celebration this Friday, Nov. 10.

Students and faculty will show their appreciation to servicemen and servicewomen with cheering and waving handmade signs.

Here's how to participate: If you are veteran and in the area that day, take a few moments to drive through, be recognized and let the children honor you, the school says.

The event will take place from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the school at 51 Lincoln Place, Freehold. The rain date is Friday, Nov. 17.

Cars should enter the parking lot using the South Street entrance and follow the pathway of cones around the school building. Anyone arriving earlier can park in the lot directly off the South Street entrance until the celebration begins.
