Vyacheslav Gryaznov Performs Liszt for Cecilian Music Club

Russian Pianist Vyacheslav Gryaznov performed all twelve of Liszt's Transcendental Etudes for Cecilian Music Club.

Vyacheslav
Gryaznov, the Drozdoff Society's Artist-in-Residence, once again
presented the Cecilian Music Club with an extraordinary performance.

At
a meeting at president Marina Strakovsky's house in Rumson, he played
all twelve of Liszt's Transcendental Etudes.

The
Etudes, which are some of the most challenging pieces in piano
literature, present a variety of moods, from the peaceful Paysage
(Scenery), to the dramatic Mazeppa, to the playful Will o'the Wisp.
It takes a pianist of consummate skill and depth of feeling to do
justice to these passionate pieces.
