Wagon Rides, Live Music & More Planned For Walnford Day In Upper Freehold
Visitors will have the chance to tour the Waln family home, view historical demonstrations and displays and more during the May event.

UPPER FREEHOLD, NJ — The Monmouth County Park System will host Walnford Day on Sunday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Historic Walnford in Upper Freehold.
This family-friendly event offers visitors the chance to:
- Explore this historic site
- See the site's 19th-century gristmill in action
- Tour the elegant Waln family home
- View historical demonstrations and displays
- Go on a wagon ride. (Please note wagon rides are offered from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.)
Visitors can also enjoy live music performed by the Magnolia Street String Band from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., park system officials said.

Other highlights include puppet making, the Nature on the Move van, and the MonmouthNJ 250 Truck. This year’s event will also feature a pair of food vendors.
