Weather Concerns Have Freehold Schools Curtailing Events

Sleet is predicted for the area Tuesday evening into Wednesday.

Officials in both the Freehold Township and Freehold Regional High School districts have canceled afterschool activities in advance of the winter storm predicted to bring sleet and possibly snow to the area tonight.

The Freehold Regional High School District said all afterschool activities will conclude by 4:30 p.m.

Freehold Township schools will have aftercare available on its regular schedule. All other afterschool activities are canceled, as is the Board of Education meeting that was scheduled for tonight.
