Who's Running For Freehold Township Committee In 2022?
One committee seat is up for grabs this November. Monday was the deadline to file for the upcoming primary elections.

FREEHOLD, NJ — One committee seat is up for grabs this year in Freehold Township, according to the township clerk.
Republican incumbent Maureen Fasano is seeking re-election and is running unopposed.
Fasano has lived in Freehold Township for over 50 years and previously served on the Board of Parks and Recreation for ten years, three of which she served as Chairman. She is currently a Member of the Freehold Township Human Relations Commission and is the Township Committee Liaison on the Historic Preservation Commission.

The 2022 primary election takes place on Tuesday, June 7 in New Jersey. The winners will earn their party's nomination for the general election, which takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 8, and will also include independent candidates.
Voters have until May 17 to register for the primary election.
