1 Killed In Early Morning Accident In Galloway: Police

The accident took place in the area of Aloe Street and Bremen Avenue.

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Pleasantville man was killed in an accident that took place in the area of Aloe Street and Bremen Avenue in Galloway Township early Sunday morning, police said.

Ronnell T. Moore Jr., 21, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu west on Aloe Street at about 6:20 a.m. when his car left the road for an unknown reason, Galloway Township police said Sunday morning.

The Malibu crossed over to the eastbound lane and sideswiped a utility pole, then swerved back towards the westbound lane.

A 2016 Chevrolet Cruz was headed east and had swerve to avoid Ronnell’s vehicle. As a result, the Cruz crossed over into the westbound lane.

The cars collided head-on on the westbound shoulder of Aloe Street. Moore was pronounced deceased on the scene. He was wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident. The other driver was not injured in the accident.
