2 Arrested In Recent Home Burglaries In Galloway Township: Police

The burglaries all took place in the last nine days.

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two people have been arrested and charged with burglaries in Galloway Township in the last nine days, police said on Wednesday.

First, Daniel Cruse, 30, of Egg Harbor Township, was charged with burglary and theft in a residential burglary that was reported on Sylvan Avenue on Sept. 19, according to the Galloway Township Police Department.

Two days later, on Sept. 21, a residential burglary in progress was reported on Highlands Avenue. Galloway Township Police officers immediately responded to the area. They were joined by an Egg Harbor Township Police K-9 Unit and a New Jersey State Police helicopter in a search of the area, but the search efforts were unsuccessful. A second residential burglary was reported on Highlands Avenue on the same date.

Another residential burglary was reported on Sept. 22, this time on Smith Bowen Road. Charles Eble III, of Little Egg Harbor, was arrested following an investigation by Galloway Township police, with the assistance of the Atlantic City Police Department.

He was charged in all three burglaries that took place on Sept. 21 and 22. Eble was turned over to Little Egg Harbor Township Police for an unrelated matter and lodged in Ocean County Jail on warrants out of Ocean County and Middlesex County.
