2 Dirt Bikers Charged In Galloway Nature Preserve Vandalism

The two were accused of damaging the new Galloway Nature Preserve and taunting workers when asked to leave.

GALLOWAY, NJ — The two dirt bikers sought for damaging the new Galloway Township Nature Preserve and harassing workers back in October have been charged, police said in an update.

On Oct. 24, two dirt bikers rode inside what was formerly Ole Hansen's gravel pit, where the township is working to make improvements, and were asked to leave by employees, police previously said. Instead, the two "made obscene gestures, and taunted workers by driving their bikes in the workers direction spraying them with rocks, dirt, and debris," police said.
