2 Fatalities In Egg Harbor Township Car Crash: Police
An adult and a child were killed in the crash, according to a report.
Two people died in a car crash Tuesday afternoon in Egg Harbor Township, police said. A vehicle overturned and became fully engulfed in flames, with both victims trapped inside, according to police.
An adult and child were killed in the crash, authorities told NBC Philadelphia. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police are withholding the names of anyone involved in the accident at this time for investigative purposes. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Egg Harbor Township police responded to the incident at about 12:14 p.m. in the area of English Creek Avenue and Friars Lane in the Scullville section of the Township. Both vehicles sustained significant disabling damage, police said. Officials shut down that area of English Creek Avenue for approximately six hours to clear and investigate the scene, police said.
The EHTPD Traffic Safety Unit and Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office are investigating the crash, police said. The Scullville and Bargaintown Fire Departments and Egg Harbor Township EMS assisted at the scene.
