2 Hospitalized After NJ Transit Bus Hits Street Sweeper in Galloway
The driver was charged with careless driving in the incident.

Galloway Township, NJ -- A bus driver and one passenger were hospitalized after an NJ Transit bus hit a street sweeper that was stopped at the intersection of the White Horse Pike and Damson Avenue for a red light early Monday morning, according to Galloway Township Police.
The bus left the roadway around 12:05 a.m. It struck a traffic light post and came to rest in the woods. Two passengers were on the bus at the time of the collision.
One passenger, an unidentified 59-year-old Williamstown man, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus.

The bus driver, 38-year-old Yolanda Jamison, of Franklinville, became trapped and was extricated by the Pomona Volunteer Fire Company and Bayview Volunteer Fire Company.
Jamison suffered non-life threatening injuries and transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division by the Galloway Township Ambulance Squad and Atlanticare Medics.

Jamison was also charged with careless driving.
The eastbound lanes of the White Horse Pike were closed off and on for about five hours.
