2 Men Hospitalized Following Head-On Collision in Galloway: Police
Both men had to be rescued from their cars.

Galloway, NJ -- Two men were hospitalized after they were rescued from their cars following an accident at Route 9 and Great Creek Road early Friday morning, Galloway Township Police said.
At about 2:30 a.m., Cornelius C. Coyle, 71, of Galloway, was traveling south on Route 9 in a 2006 Hyundai Elantra, when a 2014 Kia Soul, being driven north on Route 9 by Robert L. Parker III, of West Creek, NJ, crossed over the center line and struck Coyle’s vehicle head on.
Parker’s vehicle overturned. Parker and Coyle were both wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.

Oceanville and Bayview fire departments rescued both Parker and Coyle from their cars. The two men were then taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division for their injuries.
The area was shut down for about two hours.
