2nd Congressional District Debate To Be Held In Galloway
Watch Republican incumbent Jeff Van Drew and Democratic challenger Tim Alexander face off in a debate Oct. 19 held at Stockton University.
GALLOWAY, NJ — The public is invited to attend a 2nd Congressional district debate on Oct. 19 at Stockton University.
The William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy at Stockton and The Press of Atlantic City will co-sponsor the debate between major-party candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives. The one-hour debate between Republican incumbent Jeff Van Drew and Democratic challenger Tim Alexander will be held at 6 p.m. in the Campus Center Theatre on the Galloway campus.
Though seats will be reserved for Stockton students, faculty and staff and for the two candidates’ campaigns, members of the public wishing to attend can register at the Hughes Center website.

Seats will be available on a first-come basis. Tickets are not needed as attendees’ names will be checked at the door.
The debate will be streamed online and may be viewed at the websites of either The Press of Atlantic City or the Hughes Center.

Panelists Nicholas Huba of The Press and Atlantic County journalist Clyde Hughes will pose questions to the candidates. The debate will be moderated by John Froonjian, director of the Hughes Center for Public Policy. No questions will be taken from the audience the evening of the debate.
