3 Galloway Teens Caught Joyriding In Stolen Car: Police
The 17-, 16- and 15-year-old boys tried to flee after crashing the stolen car into a parked vehicle in Atlantic City, police said.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Three Galloway teens were charged with several offenses after police found them driving a stolen car, Atlantic City police said.
Shortly before 5 p.m. on April 19, Atlantic City officers saw the stolen car entering Atlantic City on Route 30 after it registered on the department's Automated License Plate Reader system, according to a news release. The car had been reported stolen in Neptune, police said.
Police tried to conduct a motor vehicle stop, but the car sped off, and a pursuit was stopped for public safety reasons.

Surveillance Center officials were able to quickly locate the car, which had crashed at Kentucky and Marmora avenues, police said.
Upon arrival to the area, police saw the car crashed into a parked vehicle, and three men fleeing the area, police said.

Police caught all three of the teens.
A 17-year-old was charged with joyriding, receiving stolen property and obstruction of justice. A 16-year-old was charged with eluding, joyriding, receiving stolen property and obstruction of justice. Both were taken into custody, police said.
A 15-year-old was charged with joyriding, receiving stolen property and obstruction of justice. He was released on a summons to his parent.
