4 Charged In 3 Separate Drug-Related Incidents In Galloway: Police
Galloway police are cracking down on narcotics distribution in town, resulting in four people being charged in three incidents.
GALLOWAY, NJ — Four people have been charged in three separate drug-related incidents amid a crackdown on narcotics distribution in Galloway.
The first incident was on Feb. 12, when a warrant was executed at a Liberty Court home, police said.
At the home, police found narcotics, a handgun with a high capacity magazine and an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a news release. Police said they also searched a car where more narcotics were discovered.

As a result, Sahmad Greene, 28, was charged with: distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, unlawful possession of a weapon, committing a drug offense while in possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of a handgun, certain persons not to have weapons, possession of hollow point ammunition, possession of a large capacity magazine, and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility where he remains pending a court appearance.

The next day, on Feb. 13, two search warrants were executed simultaneously in the South Egg Harbor section of Galloway, police said.
On the 600 block of Simms Avenue, police recovered narcotics and arrested two fugitives out of Atlantic County. The two, Briana Torres and Jeffrey Anderson, both 29 and of Galloway, were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on their outstanding warrants, police said.
And on the 600 block of South Philadelphia, police said they found narcotics, a high capacity magazine and a 12 gauge shotgun. Steven K. McKenny, 52, of Galloway was charged with distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, unlawful possession of a weapon, certain persons not to have weapons, possession of a large capacity magazine, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
McKenny was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a future court date.
