4 Injured In Motorcycle Accident In Galloway Township: Police
A 6-year-old child was among those hospitalized Tuesday night.

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ — Four people, including a 6-year-old boy, were injured in an accident involving a motorcycle in Galloway Township, police said early Wednesday morning.
Mikeena A. Jones, 45, of Egg Harbor City, was driving a 2002 Saturn west on Tilton Road at about 9:07 p.m. Tuesday night when she attempted to left onto Aloe Street. At the same time,30-year-old Jose A. Ayala III, of Hammonton, was riding a 2016 Yamaha YZF motorcycle east on Tilton Road, and ended up hitting the passenger side of the Saturn, police said.
Ayala was thrown from the motorcycle. He was wearing a DOT approved helmet. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division, for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Jones’s 6-year-old grandson was also taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Dequan Edwards, 26, of Egg Harbor City, was a passenger in the Saturn. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Division, for non-life threatening injuries.

All three people in the Saturn were wearing seatbelts. Tilton Road near Aloe Street was closed for about three hours as a result of the accident.
