50-Foot Christmas Tree Comes To Atlantic City Boardwalk

The tree came all the way from North Carolina to be the Boardwalk's first-ever live Christmas tree. It will be adorned with 8,000 lights.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — For the first time in its 152-year history, the Atlantic City Boardwalk has a live Christmas tree.

The 50-foot balsam spruce was transported from North Carolina and taken to its new home on the Boardwalk on Nov. 14.

The tree will be adorned with 8,000 lights in a special ceremony on Nov. 29, kicking off Showboat AC’s Holiday Extravaganza on the Boardwalk.
