8 Atlantic County Teachers Made $100K Or More In 2017
These teachers are among the highest paid in the state.

Eight teachers in Atlantic County are among the highest paid in the state. The state Department of Education released its annual list of teachers' salaries for 2017.
The teachers who made the list all make significantly more than the average statewide salary of $70,637, which also includes librarians, guidance counselors, and other non-administrative staff, according to an NJ Spotlight analysis.
The following Atlantic County teachers made the list:

- Lindsey Stuhltrager, E.H. Slaybaugh Elementary School in Egg Harbor Township, $145,990;
- Mariann Storr, Atlantic City District Office, $131,079;
- Tracy Slattery, Atlantic City District Office, $122,126;
- Maryann Mena, Atlantic City District Office, $122,126;
- Daniel Angelo, Atlantic City District Office, $121,454;
- Janine Riggins, Texas Avenue School in Atlantic City, $114,287; and
- Christine Young, Richmond Avenue School in Atlantic City, $112,676.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this story listed Joseph C. Shaner Memorial Elementary School Teacher Kelly Petrucci as making $168,585. However, according to Hamilton Township School District Superintendent Frank Vogel, Petrucci makes $86,727 a year with longevity. The story has since been revised.
