A grocery store is the last thing anyone attending the inaugural would expect to find, but that's exactly what those attending the inaugural event on June 28 will find.

Fansler wants local residents to know that his supermarket does more than just sell prepackaged goods.

“Ninety percent of what’s in our case is made fresh daily, from the macaroni salad to the loaves of bread,” Fansler said. “We want to let locals know that they can come get home cooked goods right here.”

According to Fansler, Foodtown will be sampling three recipes that he came up himself. These include Italian Riceballs, Meatballs and a homemade pasta sauce.

Foodtown sells all the items they will be sampling, and they hope to let more people know that they are in town to supply residents with everything they need for a nutritious meal.
