Absecon Police Investigating Friday Morning Hit-and-Run
Harry DellaPietro, 50, was injured when a Toyota or Mitsubishi hopped the curb and he was hit by the driver side mirror.
A Pleasantville man was the victim of a hit-and-run accident in Absecon Friday morning.
Harry DellaPietro, 50, was struck by a gray colored vehicle, possible a Toyota or Mitsubishi, on the corner of Shore Road and Dr. Ruppert Drive around 9 a.m., according to Absecon Police.
He was walking on the sidewalk toward the bus stop when the accused vehicle made a right hand turn off Shore Rd (North) to head east on Dr .Ruppert Drive toward Route 30.

DellaPietro said the vehicle jumped the curb and struck him in the arm with its passenger side mirror.
The impact forced him to the ground, injuring his arm and head.
Anyone with information or who may have witnessed this accident is urged to contact the Absecon Police Department at 609-641-0667. The accident is being investigated by Sgt Adams.
