Absecon's Five Corners Intersection Resurfacing: Expect Delays

Roadwork will take place Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights, weather permitting, according to officials.

ABSECON, N.J. — Expect delays soon by the Five Corners Intersection. Officials will resurface the area Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.

There will be no road closures in there area (US 9, Pitney Rd., and North Mill Rd.), only shifting lanes, officials said.

  • Five Corners Intersection
  • US 9 (N. New Rd. and E. Wyoming Ave.) from Delaware Ave. to North Shore Rd. (NJ 157)
  • Pitney Rd. (Rt. 634) from Pennsylvania Ave. to Pine St.
  • North Mill Rd. from Seminole Ave. to the Five Corners Intersection
The New Jersey Department of Transportation requests all parked vehicles be removed from the roadway during these time periods.
