Absegami Alum Runs Mile in Under Four Minutes

Absegami High School alum and Galloway resident Ford Palmer ran the mile in less than four minutes this week, the Press of Atlantic City reports.

He won the Sir Walter Miler men’s elite mile race with a time of three minutes, 57.61 seconds, according to the report.

He had been trying to break the four-minute mark since he ran the mile in four minutes in 2013, according to the report.
