EGG HARBOR TWP., NJ — A Pleasantville man was charged with attempted murder after stabbing two people during an Egg Harbor Township home invasion, according to reports.
It was about 3:42 a.m. Sunday when police responded to a Fire Road home, according to NJ.com.
Police found two people with multiple stab wounds to their faces and bodies, the report said. Both were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was identified as Carlos Garcia-Moreno, 36, according to the report. He later turned himself in, the report said.
Garcia-Moreno was charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault with a weapon, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, home invasion burglary, terroristic threats and weapons offenses, according to the report.
He sits in the Atlantic County Justice Facility, according to the report.
