Eason pleaded guilty to second-degree possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, second-degree possession with the intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl, fourth-degree possession of hollow point ammunition, and second-degree certain persons not to possess weapons. Under the terms of the plea, he is expected to be sentenced to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison with a five-year parole ineligibility period.

The case stems from a Jan. 22, 2025, investigation by the New Jersey State Police Crime Suppression South Unit and the Egg Harbor Township Police Department into Eason's illegal narcotics distribution, according to officials. Search warrants were executed that day.

Police recovered more than a half ounce of cocaine and more than a half ounce of heroin mixed with fentanyl from Eason's residence, according to the source material. Several agencies assisted in the execution of the search warrants. They included the New Jersey State Police Metro South Unit, Atlantic County S.W.A.T, New Jersey State Police S.I.U. South, and the New Jersey State Police Hazardous Material Response Unit.

Eason will continue to be held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending sentencing, officials said. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 13, 2026.
