Arrest Made In Alleged Stabbing Death Of Sicklerville Man

Timothy T. Knight, 47, of Atlantic City has been arrested and charged with aggravated manslaughter, authorities announced Monday.

An arrest has been made in the death of a 23-year-old Sicklerville man, who was found dead in an alleyway in Atlantic City Sunday morning.

Timothy T. Knight, 47, of the 100 block of Tennessee Avenue, Atlantic City has been arrested and charged with aggravated manslaughter and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in the stabbing death of Justin Turay, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain said.

Authorities allege that Knight stabbed Turay multiple times with a knife, resulting in his death.

Knight was lodged early yesterday evening in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $520,000 full cash bail—$500,000 for the aggravated manslaughter charge, and an additional $20,000 for the weapons offense—set by Superior Court Judge J. Christopher Gibson of the Atlantic and Cape May Vicinage, McClain said.
