Atlantic Cape Tuition Will Not Increase For Upcoming Year

Not only will the general tuition remain flat, there will be decreased tuition for culinary students.

MAYS LANDING, NJ — Atlantic Cape Community College students, rejoice. There will be no increase in tuition for the upcoming school year, the school said in a release.

Atlantic Cape's Board of Trustees approved the school's Fiscal Year 2023 tuition and fee schedule, as well as its annual budget in a meeting on Feb. 22.

The current general tuition rate is $146.10 per credit for in-county residents. Academy of Culinary Arts tuition will decrease from its current rate of $360 per credit for in-county residents, to $300 per credit, not including culinary-specific program fees. Their culinary program is one of the top-ranked culinary programs in the state.

Registration for the Fall 2022 semester begins April 7 for new students and April 4 for current students. Students who register will receive three free credits and may qualify for a free laptop. In addition, students earning less than $65,000 a year and taking six or more credits may also qualify for the Community College Opportunity Grant, which is a last-dollar grant to cover tuition and fees after all scholarship and federal grant money is applied.
