Further investigation revealed that there were additional child victims, between 9 and 14 years old, in seven more states, including Michigan, Georgia, Massachusetts, California, Missouri, South Carolina, and Mississippi, Ruberton said.

Police allege Miller sent photos of his genitals to the victims, then sent the victims video of him pleasing himself sexually. He is also alleged to have induced one child to send him images back. This resulted in the indictment announced on Tuesday.

A conviction for a first degree crime carries a potential penalty of 10-20 years of incarceration in New Jersey State Prison. The potential penalty for a third degree conviction is 3-5 years in prison.
