Atlantic City Man Attacked Galloway Woman, Attempted to Steal Phone: Police
Tyrone Decker Jr. attacked the woman while she jogged in the area of Wrangleboro Road and High School Drive Thursday evening, police say.

Galloway Township, NJ -- An Atlantic City man has been arrested after he attacked a 26-year-old woman while she was jogging in the area of Wrangleboro Road and High School Drive Thursday evening, Galloway Township Police said.
Tyrone Decker Jr., 25, was charged with robbery and criminal mischief after police allege he attacked the woman from behind and attempted to steal her cell phone around 5:45 p.m.
The woman briefly fought off Decker. He ultimately threw her to the ground, casuing minor injuries, police said.

The police department then received a 9-1-1 call about the incident and reported to the scene. Police were able to quickly locate Decker.
Decker was lodged in The Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $75,000 bail. Anyone with additional information regarding this incident is asked to contact Officer Christian Magazzu at 609-652-3705, ext. 097.
