Atlantic County PBA President Charged With Stealing $1,500 From PBA
John Brigandi, 43, of Hammonton, and Amber Jacobs, 39, of North Hanover, allegedly illegally withdrew the money using an ATM Bank card.

The president of the local Atlantic County Police Benevolent Association #243 has been charged with official misconduct after he and an accomplice allegedly illegally withdrew $1,500 from the PBA’s bank account, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain said on Monday.
Atlantic County Sheriff’s Officer John A. Brigandi, 43, of Hammonton, and Amber Jacobs, 39, of North Hanover Township, allegedly conspired together to gain access to the PBA’s account by using an ATM bank card to withdraw $1,500 in cash.
Brigandi was charged on Thursday, June 11, with second degree official misconduct, third degree theft, third degree conspiracy to commit theft and second degree conspiracy to commit official misconduct.

Jacobs was charged on Friday, June 12, with third degree theft, third degree conspiracy to commit theft and second degree conspiracy to commit official misconduct.
Brigandi’s bail was set at $25,000. Brigandi posted bail and was released after processing.
