UPDATE: Baby Found in Atlantic City Casino in Critical Condition
Investigators believe the baby was born prematurely.

A 2-month-old baby who was having difficulty breathing and was airlifted from Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino on Memorial Day is in critical condition, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain confirmed on Wednesday.
The baby was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center around 7:30 p.m. before being taken to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
Investigators say the baby was born prematurely, according to NBC 10.

It was unclear who was with the baby, or how long the baby was at the casino, according to The Press of Atlantic City.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, the Atlantic City Police Department, and the State Division of Protection and Permanency (CP&P) are investigating the matter, McClain said.

The baby was not identified, and the Prosecutor’s Office wasn’t releasing any additional information Wednesday afternoon.
