Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation presents "Coffee, Danish and Better Hearing"
Hearing plays an essential role in everyday communication. According to the Centers for Diseases Control, hearing loss is the third most common chronic health condition among older adults. Join the Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation on the first Thursday of every month from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Bacharach Dining Room for “Coffee, Danish and Better Hearing” to learn how to manage your hearing health.
Led by Janet Revelle, an audiologist with 30 years of experience, this program will cover topics such as common causes of hearing loss, what a comprehensive hearing evaluation consists of, what both an audiologist and hearing aid dispensers are, as well as the risks of untreated hearing loss. This program will also discuss the benefits of using the proper hearing instrument for a particular hearing loss, what is and isn’t covered by insurance and payment and financing information.
