Barricaded Person Causes 6-Hour Standoff In Galloway: Police
After six hours, the person voluntarily left the house and surrendered, Galloway police said.
GALLOWAY, NJ — A six-hour standoff with a barricaded person in a Galloway home had a peaceful ending, according to police.
It was about 12 p.m. on Sunday when Galloway police went to the 700 block of Cooper Ferry Court for a welfare check, according to a news release.
Upon arrival, the person was reported to be armed and refused to leave the house, police said.

But after about six hours, the person voluntarily left and surrendered to police. That person was then taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for evaluation, police said.
