This Galloway institution located at 9 West White Horse Pike is pricier than most in the area, but it’s worth every penny. The restaurant's owners and chefs are devoted to fresh ingredients, many of which come from nearby farms.

With each meal, you not only get a delicious meal, the waiters also put on a show worth the price of admission alone.

The more popular dishes include their duck and chicken potpie. Leave room for dessert; you don’t want to miss their gourmet dessert cart that includes a wide selection of baked goods made daily on the premises.

With a piano player in the lounge on Friday and Saturday night, the inn is a popular venue for weddings, anniversaries and other celebrations.

The Ram’s Head Inn is open on Mondays 6-9 p.m. (tavern only); Tuesday-Friday noon-3 p.m. for lunch and 5-9 p.m. for dinner; Saturday 5-10 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. for brunch and 3:30-9 p.m. for dinner.
