You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Galloway Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:
T.J. Howellβs (facebook.com/pages/TW-Howells-Restaurant/217529516912): This restaurant couldnβt be more steeped in family tradition: the T stands for Thomas, the chef, and the W stands for William, one of his brothers. The brothers started the restaurant in memory of their father, who served in World War II, and who passed away before he was able to make his dream of owning a restaurant become a reality.
He was a chef at the restaurant now known as the Berkshire, and his sons learned from him. They spent time with him in the restaurant before eventually opening their own.

His sons have done him well, with a restaurant that serves 14 flavors of wings, a build your own burger menu with six different kids of cheese, a comprehensive breakfast menu and fajitas.
The cozy restaurant is located on Odessa Avenue and Route 30, next to Tailgaters. Itβs open daily from 5:30 a.m. t0 2 p.m., and until 8 p.m. for dinner on Fridays.
