Body Found On Atlantic City Beach: Cops

ATLANTIC CITY – A body was found on a Jersey Shore beach this week, and investigators are trying to find out why.

The body was found Tuesday at the Pacific Avenue beach in Atlantic City, police said.

Officers made the discovery after responding to the beach off Pacific Avenue on a report of a body in the water, police said.

Officers did locate a body, which was removed.

Police did not reveal an identification, saying they're waiting for a report from the medical examiner.
