Buena Vista Teen Dies In Fiery Car Crash: Report

The unidentified 16-year-old boy was a passenger in a car that struck a utility pole, according to The Press of Atlantic City.

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A Buena Vista teen died Monday night after a car he was riding in struck a pole and caught fire, according to The Press of Atlantic City. Police have not identified the 16-year-old boy.

Jaime Hannah, 18, of Newfield in Gloucester County, left the road and struck the pole, which caused the black Toyota Scion to catch fire, police told The Press. Buena Regional Superintendent David Cappuccio did not identify the victim but said in a statement that counseling services will be available to staff and students.

“As students demonstrate a wide range of emotions when coping with loss, I ask that you talk with your children about those feelings. If you notice changes that do not improve over time, I encourage you to contact your child’s school counselor,” Cappuccio said in extending his condolences.
