Winter Solstice Singing Celebration

Winter Solstice holiday program of stories and songs

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the South Jersey Shore (UUCSJS) will present a free winter solstice celebration at 4:30 p.m. on December 21st at 75 S. Pomona Road at the corner of Liebig Street.

A Winter Solstice Singing Ritual: A Celebration of the Darkness and the Light is a non-denominational program of stories and songs with music ranging from calypso, Western choral singing, Native American texts and Greek mythology to feminist rounds, Pagan chants and even an old American hymn.
